Making appointments
Patients are seen by appointment during the following office hours:
Monday - Friday from 9:00 - 5:00
(Regular office hours at Camillus and Liverpool locations)
Summer hours from 8:30 - 5:00
Saturday, Sunday and all holidays from 9:00 - noon
(For acutely ill children at Camillus location only)
The Camillus office is open 365 days a year. A receptionist is available at both offices Monday through Friday from 8:00 am. - 5:00 pm. The Camillus office receptionist is also available from 8:30 am. - noon on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. All routine appointments, prescription renewals and routine questions are handled during normal business hours Monday throuh Friday fro m 8:00 am. - 5:00 pm.
Medical questions are handled by a pediatric nurse who will return your call as soon as possible. Physicians will return calls when conditions permit. Please note that the telephones are especially busy in the morning.
After hours / emergency care
After hours, our answering service can be reached by calling our office phone numbers. You will be contacted by one of our pediatric nurse practitioners or pediatric nurses who will provide guidance for routine illnesses and accidents. A physician will be notified in more serious situations. After hours calls are prioritized based on severity of patients condition and will be answered in a timely manner.
In a true emergency please call 911 or go directly to the pediatric emergency room at University Hospital. The emergency department will confer with one of our physicians.
Well visits
Well-child visits are scheduled with your primary pediatrician during regular office hours. Scheduling these checkups three to four months in advance is recommended.
Sick visits
Sick visits are scheduled for the same day that you call. You may also schedule sick visits a day or two in advance.
Getting Started
Thank you for your interest in Pediatric Associates. We are commited to providing the best possible care for your child and family. Before your first appointment please have all previous medical records sent to us. We participate with most insurance plans, and accept payment by check, cash or credit card. Payment is expected at the time of visit.
